Acolytes
Anne Wiggins, Head of Acolytes
The Youth Acolytes lost some members due to high school graduation but we also are gaining new members and continually training Acolytes to cover new positions. Ben and Kelsey Adams both graduated high school and Christian Ford joined his two older brothers in this wonderful ministry. The existing Acolytes for the year are: Taylor Barnett, Chris Becker, Eric and John Bloodworth, Brett Bond, Erin Borders, Chris Cooprider, Peggy Crose, Justin and Garret Ford, Jakob and Madeline Howe, Devanne Jones, Luther Kirchhofer, Henry and Sam Legett, Madeline Pantfoeder, Breck and Hadley Peterson, Taylor Pickett, Jesse Rodak, Kamren Sanford and Nettie Wiggins-Fesler. Our membership currently stands at twenty-four, with three of those members achieving the award of membership in the Order of St. Vincent. Several others are scheduled to receive this award in the coming year. Membership is granted to a youth Acolyte who is fully trained on all positions. In addition to serving at the 10:00 service, the youth Acolytes served at several memorial services and weddings this year and joined members of the youth group in the annual event of decorating the church for Pentecost.
The Adult Acolytes serving at the 7:30 service are Doris McGlynn, Don Koenig, Anne Wiggins and Pat Wing. Adult Thurifers are Steve Hinton, Alice Pantfoeder, Rick Hightower and Anne Wiggins.
