St. Monica's Guild
Virginia Wood, President
St. Monica's Guild was formed by Josephine Stormes in the late 1920's and is the oldest organization currently in existence at SPBTS. The Guild meets on the second Wednesday of each month, September through May, immediately following the 10:30 a.m. service. There are no dues and all members of the parish are invited to attend. Funds to support the Guild’s projects are generated from individual members’ contributions and proceeds from raffles of items and flowers (which are also donated by the members.) Pennies collected at monthly meetings are sent to the Fellowship of the Least Coin to support scholarships and other Christian missions "to pray for justice and peace," and urge women to lead a Christian life. Quarters are sent to "Mile of Quarters," an on-going effort that supports Camp Weed and the Cerveny Conference Center. Come join us in our endeavors and our worship. We welcome you!
