Music Ministry
The mission of the music ministry is to provide spiritually uplifting and liturgically supportive music for worship services of the church. We are also called to share our musical gifts in support of special events of the church, or outside the church altogether. Our Chancel and Bell Choirs work to provide a festive Christmas and Easter that includes multiple services enhanced with choral literature, bell literature, and the solo talents of some of our members. Our collaboration with the St. Andrew's AME choir in the Martin Luther King, Jr. worship celebration is a joyful blessing that we look forward to each year. |

The Chancel Choir
The Chancel Choir is a joyful and committed group comprised of choristers of varying ages and choral backgrounds. Music reading ability is helpful but not necessary. The Choir enjoys weekly fellowship and a rich musical experience. The Chancel Choir leads the parish in music and worship every Sunday, providing appropriate choral literature offerings, supported by congregational singing. They learn an eclectic array of reputable choral music, which is presented not only at Sunday services, but at concerts and special services. Anyone high school age and older is welcome to join the choir. They rehearse with Jonathan on Wednesday evenings from 7:00-8:30 p.m. and on Sunday mornings from 9:00-9:45 a.m. in preparation for worship. We'd love to have you! Please contact Jonathan Easter with inquiries. |
