God's Adventure Seekers for Pre-K to 6th grade.Pre-K, Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd Grades - Godly Play & The Mustard Seed Series - The goal of Godly Play is to teach children the art of using religious language, parable, sacred story, silence, and liturgical action to help them become more fully aware of the mystery of God's presence around them and in their lives.
3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th Grades - The Mustard Seed Series - This in-depth curriculum helps students gain a broad understanding of the Bible over many years. It presents classic artwork, the entire biblical story and themes that relate to practical issues in students' lives. The Mustard Seed Series is organized thematically around the Old and New Testaments, presents our faith story clearly, encourages students to think critically about Bible texts and teaches children and their parents how to pray together.
St. Paul's by-the-Sea Youth (SPY)
Journey 2 Adulthood is a complete youth ministry program of spiritual formation for 6th or 7th - 12th grades. It uses Bible study, prayer, rites of passage, outreach ministries and both serious and playful activities to underscore its core messages: The grades in each part of the program vary from year to year.
Rite 13 - The focus of Rite 13 is celebrating the individuality of each young person and their creative potential. The Rite-13 liturgy (A celebration of Manhood and Womanhood) is the community expression of this.
Journey 2 Adulthood - This portion of the program engages youth with the skills and critical thinking involved in adulthood. The youth plan and embark on a pilgrimage together at the end of this segment.
The Rite 13 and J2A classes start on a two-year rotation. Confirmation classes are part of the Rite 13 curriculum and Confirmation takes place towards the end of the second year.
